Programs & Impact

Empowering August Town’s children to learn, grow, and thrive through education, food security, and sport.

Education

In the August Town community, many students face barriers, including low literacy rates, limited classroom resources, and minimal academic support.

The Ed First Foundation is committed to helping bridge these gaps by supporting programs that strengthen learning, build confidence, and empower young minds.

Early Education Opportunities

We collaborate with schools and community partners to enhance access to high-quality early education. By providing essential learning materials, teacher support, and child-focused initiatives, we help create environments where children can build the strong foundation needed for future success.

Sports

The Ed First Foundation believes in the transformative power of education, sports, and youth development. For years, the school’s sports programs, once a proud community tradition, were halted due to a lack of funding. In 2024, we reignited this spirit by sponsoring soccer, netball, and the school’s annual sports day, restoring opportunities that inspire teamwork, discipline, leadership, and hope.

Through sports, we provide a safe and positive outlet that teaches life skills, builds resilience, and strengthens confidence, helping youth find purpose and a sense of belonging.

Together, we can give every child the chance to learn, play, and build a brighter future, on and off the field.

School Supplies

Every child deserves the tools to learn, dream, and succeed. Through our Learning & Literacy initiative, we help ensure that students in August Town have access to essential books, digital devices, and interactive learning materials. Your support fuels curiosity, strengthens literacy, and opens pathways to lifelong learning.

By contributing to this program, you help build confident readers, digital learners, and future leaders ready to create lasting change.

Nutrition

At Ed First Foundation, we believe that education is about more than textbooks and classrooms; it’s about addressing the full range of challenges that shape a child’s ability to thrive. One of the most pressing challenges is nutrition.

Our Nutrition Support Program helps bridge this gap by providing daily meals that enhance concentration, energy, and overall well-being.

This initiative is a lifeline for many students, providing the nourishment they need to succeed in school and in life. With your support, we can reach even more children, turning hunger into hope and potential into progress.

Ed First Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
